Water-Legacy

As our team studied water science and the human water cycle, we learned that people don’t know how to be good water stewards.  We spoke with multiple professionals including Dr. Dan Symonik from the MN Dept. of Health,  and we saw the same problem, again and again, we need greater education and appreciation for the water we use every day.

We scoured the internet and stores looking for water education games and kits, but came up short.  We only found water filtration kits and kits showing properties of water, but nothing covering the full spectrum of the human water cycle and how we can help.  So we are trying to fix this!

Our solution is a kit that includes a new and innovative 5-in-1 card game that teaches people of all ages about water problems and straightforward solutions they can do right now, a creature catching kit including a dipnet and water creature guide, a chemical testing kit with tests and instructions for phosphates, nitrates, and pH, and an educational booklet with even more information on water problems, solutions, and how to be a good water steward along with educational videos to help people learn about water science and careers in water areas.

There is nothing else like this out there.
